Marcie Whitmore is a mercenary living in a sprawling future city where advanced technology, corporate power and everyday life have become almost impossible to separate.
A job that should have been straightforward instead pulls Marcie into something far stranger. As she begins uncovering connections between people, corporations and events that don't seem related, she finds herself drawn into a hidden world that challenges everything she thought she knew about Halcyon.
With the AI Lil Sun at her side and the mysterious Laurent increasingly involved in her life, Marcie begins following patterns that may mean far more than she first thought.
Vol. 2: Patterns In Crimson
Marcie has spent months trying to make sense of the patterns she has uncovered across Halcyon. Water supplies, medical facilities, corporate contracts and seemingly unrelated events keep leading back to the same handful of companies. The more she investigates, the more difficult it becomes to believe that any of it is coincidence.
But Marcie's investigation is no longer her only problem. Her relationship with Laurent and his household draws her further into a world hidden beneath Halcyon's modern surface, while the growing conflict between the city's corporations and those fighting against them threatens to pull everyone into a much larger struggle.
As Marcie's understanding of the world changes, so does she. Patterns in Crimson pushes her further into the mystery behind Halcyon, forcing her to question what she is willing to become to uncover the truth.
